British Parliamentary Democracy
Theresa May went to Queen Elizabeth to tender her resignation.
Queen accepted and asked her who would take over as PM.
Theresa May informed the Queen that her party (conservative party) has elected a new party leader (an MP) who would become the PM. His name is Boris Johnson.
Queen thanked her and sent for Boris Johnson.
Boris Johnson came, Queen asked him to go and form a government. Boris Johnson accepted and instantly became the Prime minister of Great Britain. Subsequently, Boris Johnson announced his cabinet.
The whole process happened under 2 hours. No budget, no expenditure, No swearing-in ceremony. No dancing, no merriment.
Compare the above to the swearing-in ceremony of a Nigerian president.
Swearing-in ceremony in Nigeria takes months to organise. Millions of dollars will be budgeted and pocketed by government officials.
Britain is the fifth richest country in the world, they chose to spend nothing during change of government.
Nigeria has one of the poorest people in the world, they chose to spend millions of dollars during change of government.
Someone said to me that there's something wrong with black Africans. I said NO, after all there's Rwanda.
The problem with Nigeria is that hooligans are in power.
